HOSTELS

The Nalanda Hostel accommodates the IRS probationers while the adjacent Takshila Hostel accommodates the trainees for other courses. Besides, Vaishali Guest House caters to the needs of senior officers of the Department who come for guest lectures.  

The hostel premises have compact self-contained rooms divided into 4 wings, spanning across 3 floors. The rooms are constructed in a manner as to provide adequate air circulation and sunlight. Nalanda has 180 single rooms while the air-conditioned Takshila has 21 single rooms and 9 double rooms. 

The hostel premises have 3 computer lounges with internet facility, 3 TV lounges, 1 entertainment lounge, 1 billiards lounge, 1 music lounge and 1 reading lounge. The reception counter is manned round-the-clock to provide necessary assistance to the probationers and other trainees. It has PCO with STD/ISD facility. Not far from the hostel is the CGHS dispensary as well
