Event Description:

The two days Online Training Programme on Collection, Recovery and TDS Matters was conducted from 16th & 17th November, 2021 for officer of the rank of ACsIT to Addl. CsIT from various Pr. CCIT (CCA) charges across the country. Total 51 officers participated in the programme.
The objective of this virtual class was to provide participants to understand the concept and significance of advance tax and self assessment tax as voluntary modes of tax collection, and to provide an insight into the concept of revenue generation during various financial transactions by way of TDS and TCS. The provisions in the Second Schedule to the Income Tax Act for recovery of taxes was also included in this course with a view to avoid mistakes that lead to prolonged litigation.
