Event Description:

The 3 day OECD’s Virtual Class on Training Programme on Advanced Tax Treaties was conducted from 23rd to 25th November, 2021 (3 hours each day) for officer of the rank of ACsIT to CsIT from various Pr. CCIT (CCA) charges across the country. A Total of 64 officers participated in the programme. The timings of the session was from 15.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs Indian Standard Time (10.30 hrs to 13.30 hrs-Paris Time).
The objective of this virtual class was to provide participants an understanding of the application of tax treaties and to provide input on relatively complex tax treaty application, interpretation and policy issues related to treaty provisions on permanent establishment, royalties and Treaty issues on Fees for Technical services.
