INFRASTRUCTURE

LOCATION:

The NADT-RC, Chennai is located on the 3rd Floor, Tower 1 of BSNL Building, 16, Greams Road, Chennai-600006. It is situated in the heart of Chennai and very close to the main ‘AAYAKAR BHAVAN’.

FACILITIES IN THE NADT-RC, CHENNAI:

NADT-RC, Chennai is spread over 10,700 sq.ft. on leased premises. It is centrally air-conditioned.

LECTURE HALLS VAAGAI & MAGIZHAM :

There are two Lecture Halls which are equipped with the most modern and advanced training aids including Digital Podiums, LCD Projectors, Monitors, pull-down screens, and an audio system with a seating capacity of 50 each.

COMPUTER LAB MUGIL :

NADT-RC, Chennai has a hi-tech Computer Lab equipped with 20 terminals to facilitate hands-on training on all departmental computer software as well as accounting software.

LIBRARY SOLAI :

NADT-RC, Chennai has a well-stocked Library with around 2,500 books, journals, and reports relating to Taxation, Law, Management, Accountancy, and Information Technology apart from other subjects of general interest like fiction, literature, motivational books, and biographies. It subscribes to a number of magazines and newspapers in Hindi, English, and Tamil.

DIGITAL FORENSIC LAB THADAYAM :

A digital forensic lab is set up to train the participants in forensic accounting and fraud detection.

AUDIO VISUAL LAB SENGANTHAL :

The Audio-Visual Lab is used for in-house curation of videos recorded during training programmes which are subsequently telecasted on weekends under the novel initiative “Learn @ Leisure”.

CONFERENCE HALL SANGAM :

The Institute has a Conference Hall with a capacity of 20 persons for small meetings and video conferences.

MULTI-PURPOSE HALL:

The Institute has a multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 50 for meetings, discussions, and experience sharing, as well as group activities.

GYM KAYA :

The institute has a state-of-the-art gym and facilities such as Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess Board.

RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION:

Trainees’ Hostel is located at Block 17 & 18 of Central Revenue quarters in Anna Nagar, Chennai. There are 12 AC rooms in each block with double sharing facilities, accommodating a total of 48 participants at a time.

MINISTERIAL STAFF TRAINING UNITS MSTUs UNDER NADT-RC, CHENNAI:

NADT-RC, Chennai has 6 MSTUs located at Chennai, Tiruchirapalli, Coimbatore, Madurai, Kochi, and Trivandrum.

• MSTU, Chennai looks after the training needs of ministerial staff working at Kanchipuram, Vellore, Pondicherry, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, and Tambaram.
• MSTU, Madurai caters to the training needs of ministerial staff working at Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Theni, Karaikudi, Nagercoil, and Virudhunagar.
• MSTU, Coimbatore caters to the training needs of ministerial staff working at Coimbatore, Pollachi, Tirupur, Ootacamund, and Erode.
• MSTU, Tiruchirapalli looks after the training needs of staff posted in Trichy, Thanjavur, Salem, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Kumbakonam, Namakkal, Tiruvarur, Karur, Perambalur, Dharmapuri, and Nagapattinam.
• MSTU, Kochi caters to the training needs of ministerial staff in Ernakulam, Trissur, Palghat, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
• MSTU, Trivandrum looks after the training needs of staff posted in Trivandrum, Kollam, Alappuzha, and Kottayam.
