Message from the Additional Director General NADT-RC, Kolkata

Established in 1973, National Academy of Direct Taxes-Regional Campus, Kolkata is serving the training needs of the officers & officials of the Income Tax Department of Eastern Zone spread over of  the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim & U.T. of Andaman & Nicobar islands. 

            The Institute and its MSTUs at Kolkata, Guwahati, Puri and Jorhat have been continuously conducting Core Courses namely, Induction Courses for the direct recruit Inspectors & Tax Assistants, Orientation Courses for Newly Promoted Income Tax Officers, Inspectors and Tax Assistants, in addition to the Special Courses on issues of contemporary importance as per the requirement of its trainee population, at times, even outside the annual training calendar at the request of field formations. At the time of designing course content for the target trainees, emphasis is given on performance aspects and training needs in addition to curriculum inputs. Institute invites field officers/officials, professionals, management consultants having domain knowledge besides utilising the efficiency of good speakers from retired faculty' and officers of the other Departments as guest faculty'.

            We at NADT-RC, Kolkata are committed to kindle the sense of knowledge, skill and attitude in our trainee officers/ officials to actualize their potential for effective functioning.
