Dr.Pramod Kumar is an officer of 2008 batch of IRS and he hails from Sonepat, Haryana. He is an M.B.B.S from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi and has served the Department in various capacities in the fields of Corporate assessment, Central charges assessment and Headquarter in Mumbai for 8 years before joining National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur as Joint Director of Income Tax. He is credited to have completed the assessment of non-survey and non-search cases involving the additions exceeding 125 crores wherein, either the assessee has accepted the additions without resorting to appellate proceedings or has unconditionally withdrawn the appeal in subsequent stage.
